Associate in Clinical Laboratory Science Degree
This two-year Associate in Clinical Laboratory Science degree program prepares students to work as part of the health care delivery team in a hospital, private clinical laboratory, or research laboratory. There is a concentrated presentation of general education courses combined with career development, laboratory experiences, and hospital practice to accomplish this goal.
Associate in CLS
The 2-year Associate in Clinical Laboratory Science Degree at THSU provides students with an in-depth education focused on clinical laboratory skills, with extensive clinical training embedded within the program. This associate degree is an ideal stepping stone for those who aspire to build a career in healthcare diagnostics. Our comprehensive curriculum covers topics in clinical chemistry, hematology, immunology, and microbiology, offering students the practical training necessary to become proficient in clinical testing and analysis. Students will also gain experience in patient documentation and healthcare information management. With a strong emphasis on clinical training, students will be exposed to real-world laboratory environments, preparing them for immediate employment in healthcare facilities or further studies in clinical laboratory sciences.

Requirements for Admission Enrollment at THSU!
To ensure that all applicants are well-prepared for the rigors of our program, we require:

Advanced Levels Minimum 3 subjects with a minimum of C+ in Biology, Chemistry, and either Math or Physics.

Full IB Diploma Requires a minimum score of 32 points; 3 HL science subjects recommended; minimum of 2 HL subjects required, which must include Chemistry and Biology; results 5 or higher.

India 10+2 or CBSE Minimum of 60% average with no grade below 60% in Biology, Chemistry, Math, Physics, and English.

WASSCE A grade of C or better in at least 6 science subjects.

Must Have Experience in Medical laboratory settings or actively involved in a Laboratory workplace (Public or Privately) and Certification in CPR for health care providers
